A Letter from the CEO

Dear Students, Families, and Educators,

As President of Money Strong and a Finance Professor at Butler University, I’ve spent my career helping people make smart financial decisions for longterm success and peace of mind. Personal finance is my passion, and I believe financial literacy is one of the most powerful tools a person can have. That’s why I started Money Strong.
This Mission is personal, too. As a dad of two boys, I think constantly about preparing them, and every student, for a strong financial future. Your twenties are a defining time, and through Money Strong, we’re here to build the habits, mindset, and confidence needed for a lifetime of smart money management.
We’re not just teaching numbers, we’re building futures, and I’m honored to be part of that journey.
Sincerely,
Bryan Foltice, Ph.D.

Our Money Strong Story

Phase 1 - 2024 - Money Strong Presentations

Bryan Foltice and Randy Brown both started Money Strong at Butler University in Indianapolis Indiana in 2024, as a passion project designed to reach students from all areas of the University and teach them about financial education. With the blessings from all levels of the University and the proper incentives (providing Butler Community Requirement credit for attending) in the Fall semester of 2024, Bryan and Randy rolled out four Money Strong live presentations. These four presentations were not only well attended, averaging around 180 students per presentation, they were also well received by the attendees from all over the University.

Building a Support System

From there, the Personal Finance Club was created by a group of students who share the same passion to learn and help other students talk about personal finance.
Concurrently, an alumni network of 5-6 current financial advisors was established. These advisors have volunteered their time to support any students with 1-on-1 help and guidance, if needed.

Phase 3 - 2025 and Beyond

With the rapid success and positive impact on students at Butler, we believe that this programming template can be customized and successfully implemented at all Universities throughout the US.
